NEBOSH IG Certificate Digital Assessment
The open book examination (OBE): Scenario-based Assessments(SBA)- Certificate Digital Assessment is an assessment that needs to be downloaded, completed and submitted on the NEBOSH online assessment platform within a specified time period. You can complete your assessment at home or office.

Qualification Grades
The qualification grade is based on the result from Unit IG1 only:
Distinction: 75 marks or higher
Credit: 65 – 74 marks
Pass: 45 – 64 marks
Refer: 0 – 44 marks
Qualification Achieving
To obtain the IGC qualification, a ‘Pass’ is required in both unit evaluations. You will have five years to complete your qualifications. The five-year period begins with passing your first successful unit (known as the ‘declaration date’). If a unit is more than five years old, it cannot be counted towards the qualification and must be retaken.
Professional Membership
Once you have your qualification parchment for the IGC, you can apply for the following memberships:
- Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)- Associate(AIOSH) or Technical (Tech IOSH)
- International Institute of Risk and Safety Management-Associate (AIIRSM).
